S&S Innovations was created as a result of recognizing the need to provide quality reloading accessories for the competitive shooter.  Scott has been competitively shooting for over 35 years.  He started in Long Range Steel Silhouette where precision and accuracy were paramount, and then moved to more action-based events like USPSA, Steel Challenge, Action Pistol, 3-Gun, and Cowboy Action Shooting.  Scott is one of the few who will take a cowboy rifle (lever action) and compete in Steel Challenge.

Reloading is a staple for competitive shooters and Scott has been reloading his entire time as a shooter.  He started with a single stage press and then moved to using a Dillon 650, Dillon 750 and now a Mark 7 Apex 10 with an autodrive.  As you speed up the loading process, it becomes critical to ensure the press is functioning optimally.

When Scott retired from high tech in 2025, he decided it would be fun to take his reloading experiences to the masses by selling quality products that truly improve and accelerate the loading processes whether you are using  Dillon, Mark 7, or Franklin products.
